Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Karen Nyamu has seen it all the past few days. Nyamu had joined hundreds of fans during the famous Koth Biro Tournament at Umeme Grounds in Ziwani over the weekend. Photos elicited of her having a good time with ‘ghetto boys’ and also smoking what was alleged to be weed with them in public.
Kenyans had mixed reactions and moments later the sexy politician told off those criticizing her for publicly smoking weed by asking them why they are not acknowledging her sponsorship of the tournament.
Honestly speaking, Kenyans are convinced that the media created a buzz out of it because she is a woman. Not approving the habit but men smoke things all the time and no one raises an eyebrow.
In her defence this is what Karen had to say.
Why dont you also say that I sponsored cash awards in the individual category in the same tournament https://t.co/tLmCWGQajh

Here were some reactions.
1. Smoking is not an offense in Kenya
2.We cannot confirm if she inhaled the smoke actively or passively-We therefore cannot say that she smoked!!
3. Is this being highlighted because she is a lady?
4. Don’t we also eat smoked fish and meat??— Karoki William (@karoki_william) August 5, 2019
No mama, noo, we don’t to that here. Am sorry but its not in our githeri media’s culture to highlight good deeds. We focus on mad news. You forgetting we are here to make money and we thank you for giving us some likes and Retweets. Thank you mama

I have seen what this drug does to very close people to me, I HATE IT! Your cash contribution don’t do jerk if you are advocating abuse of drugs, you DO NOT have my vote. Ever!

In Kenya main stream media will always give airtime to secondary deeds but don’t worry at least they gave you milage and now we know you. Look at it politically
