Washing your dirty linens in the open is not a good thing, and there are certain things in your marriage that should just be kept private. Just between you and your partner. There are some things you shouldn’t necessarily discuss with friends and anyone who cares to listen. Is it good? Is it bad? Those questions should linger on, except in cases where you need help and should seek the help of professionals.

A lot of people are in the habit of discussing their everyday marriage life with others. You don’t have to share everything about your marriage; you must learn to be discrete and understand that the marriage is between you and your partner. Sharing every detail means you are inviting a third party to your union.

Even in moments where you disagree,  don’t talk about their partner’s flaws and bad habits in public; you not only make your partner look stupid when you do this, but you make yourself look silly and ignorant. Don’t be in a hurry to rush to a friend or family member to pour out the disagreement you had with your partner.

mOne should be mature enough to meditate on it and speak to your partner about it and then try to reach a compromise. Find an ally in your partner and not an outsider.

Even if you have to listen to them, it’s good to have an open mind and make your own decision without being coerced.

Though you have to make your own decisions, a friend could assist and highlight some issues that may have been hard to identify.
