A fresh controversy rocking Ken Okoth’s family on the emerging of the second ‘wife’ with his five-year-old son has caused an uproar among social media users as it raised questions on her whereabouts while the MP was alive.
In an explosive article written by a local newspaper, the woman in the picture who is a Jubilee-nominated MCA approached Okoth’s family on Tuesday evening and demanded that her son be recognized before his ‘father’ is interred.
The son, whose pictures with Okoth have been shared online, is well known among Okoth’s close circle and family members.
A close family member who went further to approve the allegations argued that the late Kibra MP had earlier informed them that the boy was his own.
“Both the paternal and maternal grandparents have met the child and have lived with him for days. Ken loved the son very much and there is nothing in question“.
This has come contrary to Okoth´s mother who had earlier insisted to the public that the MP had sired no child with another woman, therefore dismissing the reports of her grandson as false.
“Ken did not sire any child. I know many women will come out to claim they have at least a child with Ken”.
Majority of Kenyans who seem to be siding with Okoth’s mother criticized the MCA’s move arguing that it is time that the country enacted laws to prevent such instances which have of late become a norm especially after the death of a prominent leader.
