When Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu was arrested on Sunday and presented in court on Monday to face three charges of conflict of interest, his beautiful Susan Ndung’u Waititu was also present at the dock facing similar charges with his husband.
The two who were judged of conspiracy and dealing with suspect property involving Sh18.4 million spent in the acquisition of Saika Two Estate Developers Ltd surrendered themselves to the EACC offices in Nairobi on Sunday afternoon.
It was Waititu who first presented himself in the morning with his wife Susan presenting herself two hours later in the afternoon. It is this act of perfect ‘couple thieves’ that has left a section of social media users expressing humorous touches of sarcasm on the two.
