When Nimrod Kipkorir Yegon took to his Facebook account on Saturday to post of his current hustle in relation with his academic qualifications, little did he know that ruthless Kenyans were about to camp in his post throwing all manner of jabs at him instead of helping him get a decent job.
The 2017 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kibabii university had posted pictures of him hawking eggs in his home town after unsuccessfully looking for a decent job. In his post, Kipkorir had expressed his frustrations over the growing rate of unemployment terming years spend in University to get a Degree as ‘useless’
Here is the post from Kipkorir’s Facebook account;
To own bachelor degree in our beloved country doesn’t mean you’ve made in life,just after graduation you’ll assemble people in your village to join you celebrate your 4years achievements, 1 year after graduation ,no any employment , because life must move on jamaa unashika ndoo yako ya mayai unaanza kuhusle but people will murmur words like ” sasa watu wako na degree wanauza mayai, wenye hatujasoma Sana tutafanya kazi gani sasa” juzi juzi tu one student told his parents” sioni aja ya kusoma if watu wenye walifika University wanauza mayai iko aja gani nisome Sana na naweza uza mayai ata saizi nkiwa form 2″ those words only inaumiza roho Sana ,ukitaka kua role model to younger generation inafaa unafanya vitu inawapa morale,but wewe hapa unauza mayai na shule wanaambiwa na their teachers “msome kwa bidii nataka nikiwakuta njiani mnanibeba kwa magari kubwa kubwa sio kuniuzia mayai njiani” so wenye tuko na degrees village we’re no longer role models to the upcoming generation,when I was still in campus I used to encourage students Sana wasomee kwa bidii telling them there’s light at the end of the tunnel…. personally am at the end of the tunnel but sioni any light😂😂😂😂
Others were ruthless enough to mock the egg vending graduate terming his second class, lower division grade as a good reason to continue selling eggs. Here are some of the humorous comments:
Philip Joel Wekesa Kwani nyinyi watuu wa madegree. Mko na shida… saa wewe unataka kazi gani? Who told you ukisoma lazima uaandikwe kazii…? Ndo maana watu wa polytechnics wataendelea kujiendeleza na nyinyi mkiendelea kuteseka

Kipchang Kiprop Toniok With simple maths just sell 2million eggs save ksh.2 from every sell you have over 2m .Another variant kenya has over 50million people devide by 2 and multiply by ksh5 .you get your cool ksh.125million in 5 years
Kipkoech Ruto Kirugo With second class Lower division inabidi kuuza mayai!
Japhet Turgut 2017 Ni juzi. Bado utatarmac mpaka unafikiria ama some who attended your graduation alikuona na macho mbaya. Juzi someone from my village was graduating and he told me hataki kuona watu kwa graduation yake because after graduating he will not manage the expectation of the villagers who think after graduating utapata job.
There is an uncle of mine who sold charcoal at some point, today he owns 3 multimillions house 6 high end vehicles and rumour has it that he has a very fat bank account, where you start does not matter, you will end up where God planned for you. Just be faithful.

Nimrod needs to stop whining and keep doing what he is doing smarter & play in a larger market. Coca cola sold 25 bottles in its first year of #business. He is way ahead of the #Kenya graduates crowd that is doing nothing years after graduation. pic.twitter.com/ikztYNDI9J
