A few weeks ago Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris, visited the Late Kibra MP, Ken Okoth to show solidarity and encourage him that all will be well and that he will triumph over cancer.
Kenyans have known that the legislator has a foreign wife but not many have seen her face or known her name. The photo opportunity has now brought the face Monica to the public eye. Ken Okoth tried as much as possible to keep his wife out of public view.
In the picture, Monica is seen smiling for the camera, her hair brought together in a beautiful ponytail. She has been taking care of her husband as he undergoes treatment abroad. Even in his before his death, Ken attributed his powerful force to his wife.

Kibra MP Ken Okoth, who had been on life support at the Nairobi Hospital since Thursday evening died after he asked doctors to switch off the life support machine. Many Kenyans were surprised that Ken’s wife was white. Hours after the news of his death, Kenyans were full of praise for her (Monica) for standing with him in his battle against cancer.
