Homabay County Spokesperson Juma Kaluoch has become a butt of all jokes on the Internet after issuing a statement full of grammatical errors.
Mr Kaluoch issued a statement about the discharge of the sickly governor from Aga Khan Hospital after being admitted for 26 days.
He thanked God for restoring Awiti’s health and urged residents to remain peaceful and united as he prepares to resume duty soon. He as well also expressed gratitude to fellow political leaders who wished him quick recovery when he was in the hospital.
However, Kenyans chose to concentrate on poor grammar instead of the message. A spokesperson should be one of the most polished speakers and writers.
It all started with ODM Spokesperson Philip Etale, who took to his Twitter handle to blast the governor’s aide for embarrassing his boss.

In a quick rejoinder, blogger Disembe Dikembe claimed that the communication office couldn’t offer better since he got the job just as a reward for campaigning for Awiti.
Juma Kaluoch was just an illiterate vernacular radio reporter who fed his listeners with Awiti this Awiti that. Such is the sort of sycophancy that lands one a job in a County Communications Department. You don’t expect him to do more than this. He’s even tried. @EtalePhilip https://t.co/jJTylvRzGd

See more trolls from Kenyans ;
If you find Juma Aluoch today walking around Homa-Bay in gaiety; you might see him who has gone to heaven and back! I mean, there is a saying that I don’t want use here but pride escalated to the peak, born out of plunder and wanton greed.

He can only be as good as his boss. Unfortunately, @GovernorAwiti is probably worse

No wonder, Juma Aluoch cannot even construct an English sentence. What merit did they even use to give him that job?
