It has started as a rough Saturday for Deputy President William Ruto. Most Kenyans have taken to social media to troll the ‘son of peasant’ for launching non-existing projects across different parts of the country tagged #RutosGhostProjects.
Mt.Kenya region being the leading side complaining of how Ruto has blindfolded people with projects which have not started. Ruto is said to have visited the region more than 279 times launching but ghost projects.

These sentiments echo what Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria stated sometimes back. Moses Kuria accused Ruto of launching projects which don’t grow past infancy. He asked the leaders from the region to stop Ruto blindly.
The people from Kisii are also on Ruto’s neck accusing him of launching non-existing projects. This is after an article was published revealing how major projects launched in the region have been stalled.

The Ghost of Kiambaa Church have also resurrected. One twitter user by the name Amakanji Thomas has told Ruto that all his projects will remain a scam until when he will go back and fund-raise for the re-construction of Kiambaa Church.
All these are #RutosGhostProjects until when he will reconstruct kiambaa church ⛪️ the way it was before 2007 saga or even better! Otherwise these other projects are a scam and the chap shouldn’t hide behind the bible pic.twitter.com/iR384XAlOM

The stadium Promise has also been used to pin down Ruto. Before tasting power, Ruto made a promise to build five international stadiums in Kisumu, Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret and Nakuru within their first term in office in a bid to improve sporting activities in the country. But to date, it is still a mystery.

But the chronicle of all the name-calling referring to Ruto’s projects as non-existence began when he went to launch a computer lab with old computers.
One Fredrick Kavoo has stated that Ruto is using projects as propaganda for his 2022 presidential bid.
“Ruto is so obsessed with fake projects because he needs something to use to build propaganda for his 2022 presidential bid. Shame!!”Kavoo started.
