The promoted side, Villa will splash €12 million, about US$13.45 million for Nakamba’s services and the Zimbabwe international, and if he does pass his medical, he will join his new teammates in the United States on their pre-season tour.

Aston Villa has spent more than £100 million in transfers which has seen about eight players arriving at the club with the manager Dean Smith indicating that “there’s still more business to be done.”

The Zimbabwean midfielder also fueled the hype he was now set to join Villa by following the club on its Instagram account and also following some of the players at the Birmingham club.

Nakamba joined Belgian side Club Brugge on June 2017 for a four-year deal for a fee around the margin of £4 million, aged 23 years and made his league debut for the club on 29 July 2017 in a 4-0 away victory over Sporting Lokeren.
