“The Deputy President must learn not to undermine the head of state. Me i want to say without a fear of contradiction. Ruto must also realize that Uhuru Kenyatta is the President of the Republic of Kenya and commander in chief of the defense forces,” Orengo stated.

Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju also directly attacked Ruto who has been against the Handshake which gave rise to the Building Bridges Initiative. Tuju stated that the BBI is within the Jubilee Manifesto.

“The Building of bridges initiative is within the manifesto and constitution of Jubilee Party,” Tuju stated.

Tuju position in Jubilee is hanging on a peg. More than once leaders aligned to Tangatanga have threatened to push for his ouster from office. This followed his leaked audio which he has heard plotting a scheme to tame Ruto.

Other leaders who attended the launch of Rarieda Youth Talent Center, Mahaya TTI and Luanda Banda Renovations, backed Uhuru in the fight against corruption calling for prosecution of those involved.

Odhiambo stated that Uhuru’s effort will nab those who were involved in siphoning of the funds meant for the Multi-million Dam project. He further alleged that the perpetrators are hiding lots of stolen money in their houses.

Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo renewed the calls for referendum. Lawyer Amollo who recently claimed that being a lawmaker has made him broke stated that Kenya is ready for constitutional amendment with or without the back up of the leaders against the push.
