Kenyan Premier League side Posta Rangers have confirmed that they will go out for two goalkeepers this transfer summer. This is in a bid to strengthen their goalkeeping department, which conceded 36 goals in the KPL last season.

The club’s chairman John Tonui has exclusively stated to Opera News that they sign Tusker goalkeeper Bryne Omondi and are currently in talks with AFC Leopards for the services of Jairus Adira.

“We are going to sign Bryne Omondi from Tusker. We have been in talks with the club and I think it’s a done deal. He will join our goalkeeping department. We are also in talks with AFC Leopards for Jairus Adira’s services. The talks are far from being complete but we hope to strike a deal soon, ” said Tonui.

The Mailmen are in a campaign to revamp their squad after facing a torrid time last season. In fact, they narrowly survived relegation to National Super League after defeating Nairobi Stima 3-2 on aggregate in the playoffs.

After beating Nairobi Stima 2-1 in the first leg, the John Kamau-led side held their opponents to a 1-1 draw, maintaining their KPL status.
