Posta Rangers drops 12, release pre-season schedule

Kenyan Premier League side,  Posta Rangers are set to resume their training on 15 July 2019 in Nairobi. This is after narrowly surviving relegation to the National Super League.

The Mailmen retained their KPL status after beating Nairobi Stima 3-2 on aggregate; winning 2-1 at Karuturi Stadium and drawing 1-1 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Rangers will hold their first training in Nairobi for two weeks before travelling to Nakuru for two weeks preseason training ahead of KECOSO Tournament.

The team will then travel to Kisii where the 40th edition of the Kenya Communications Sports Organisation (Kecoso) Games slated for August 10 to 17 will be hosted.

Meanwhile, the Kenyan Premier League club has released twelve players who are set to grace the tournament;

8. Luis Tera
9. Benson Mutinda
10. Dennis Ongeri

The KECOSO games have attracted 12 teams from the communications, transport and infrastructure ministries alongside parastatals that will take part in various sporting disciplines including; basketball, football, netball, volleyball, snooker, scrabble, pool, table tennis, and athletics. Over 1,000 participants are expected.
