Awiti Phenny who openly lives with HIV is engaged and set to marry the love of her life. The lady has overcome all sorts of diversity and stigma to become who she is.
From finding out she was born with the disease in form two and having her heart broken by the only man who accepted her status and fathered her two HIV negative children, the woman is a strong survivor.
While many may think there is no life after the diagnosis, Phenny has made it her mission to demystify the myths surrounding HIV/AIDS.
She is living proof that one can live infected today without a shred of sign outwardly as long as one maintains a healthy lifestyle. She champions for more inclusion and increased conversation about the killer disease.

The woman who once lost the man she loves has found love again in a white man. She announced their engagement on her Instagram channel with the caption:

It is unclear where the two met but it is believed she is currently in Germany. She posted this picture last week revealing her lover to the world. It is still unclear whether the man is also infected or not.
