Major transfer rumour roundups and the deadlock in Barcelona, Real Madrid

As summer heats up, several European clubs are busy looking for players to make their teams stronger for a competitive 2019-20 season. Put differently, the business of buying and selling of players has boomed in Europe.  Here is a brief roundup of the major transfer rumors sweeping their way this week.

Zidane still adamant on Pogba

Even though Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba seems to have switched his mind from Real Madrid, it is reported that Zinedine Zidane has begun afresh the quest for the star. An Italian publication recently stated that the 26-year-old was at Juve defender Andrea Barzagli’s 38th birthday party in Turin last month and revealed his wish for a reunion at the Allianz Arena.

One Spanish outlet stated that Zidane, Florentino Perez and Jose Angel Sanchez, who is responsible for the club’s external affairs had an emergency meeting recently.

The report further states that Real Madrid coach made his request very clear to Perez. The Frenchman told the president to take Pogba’s transfer very seriously because the United player is a key part of his plan for the future.

It is understood that the Los Blancos will go after the player one more time and are ready to include some players in the negotiations. All eyes are waiting to see if United will accept players to be included in the deal.

Neymar’s dad in Barcelona for negotiation

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Junior is still keen on moving to Nou Camp this season. The 27-year-old had stated his desire to dump the French club and the hindrance has still remained to be his huge fee.

Earlier on, Barca had accepted to welcome the player back only if PSG will accede to their demand before the negotiation. The conditions include; PSG must settle the player’s legal issues over alleged unpaid bonus from Barca, Neymar must take a pay cut and players must be included in the deal.

While the Brazilian has been reported to have agreed to all the three conditions, negotiation is what will determine the move, which is why Neymar’s father is in Spain to facilitate it.

Neymar senior traveled to Barcelona on Monday to meet with Andre Cury.

This is the man who helped the Neymar family complete his transfer from Santos back in 2013, he is one of Barcelona’s trusted advisors. Could he make it again this time again?
