The Son of a peasant Dr William Ruto yesterday came out blazing and spitting venom on AU Representative Raila Odinga referring to him as the Lord of Poverty.

The Deputy President who is a genius in his political game,in fact one would describe him as Machiavelli reincarnated, hurled very personal attacks to Raila.

But the same bullets are now being re-directed at him. What he thought the people will marinate in his conspiracy and sympathize with his political ambition is being used against him.

Kisumu County MP Rosa Buyu has come out hitting out at DP Ruto referring to him as the real Lord of Poverty.

Rosa Buyu has defended ‘The People’s President’ by accusing Ruto of only dishing out cash without considering the real problems of the people.

She has accused Ruto of neglecting the core agenda which include Affordable Health Care,Water to focus on what does not necessarily improve the livelihood of the People.

“I think the lord of poverty is our DP because he prefers dishing out money without looking at the real essence of life (Healthcare, water),”She stated.

Moreover,Buyu has insinuated that Ruto suffers from severe poverty of imagination, where he is capitalizing on tarnishing Raila’s name for his political survival.

Buyu has argued that Ruto intends to make the people happy by giving them handouts but at the end of the day their status don’t change.

“There are politicians that want to create opportunities/ development so as to elevate poverty among the people & those who want to give handouts everywhere they go so that you are kept happy but your status remains the same when you go back home,”Buyu added.

However,Gladys Shollei has built a defensive wall around Ruto stating that Raila has no portfolio to brag on following his tenure as Kibra MP.

“Raila was Kibra MP for almost 30 years but it is the poorest place in this country; I have seen the work Kennedy Odede has done and it is more than Raila would have ever done,”Shollei Stated.
