The Lions of Teranga head into the game looking to bounce back from Thursday’s 1-0 defeat in the hands of Algeria and seal their progression to the round of 16 by getting at least a draw from the East African nation.

Senegal is second in the group having won their game against Tanzania on match day one. They have the same number of points as second placed Kenya but their superior goal-difference sees them placed above the East Africans.

Edourd Mendy starts in goal and he will be covered by a back four of Kalidou Koulibaly, Cheikhou Kouyate , Lamine Gassama and Saliou Ciss. Idris Gueye, Henri Saivet and Ismaila Sarr will marshal the midfield while Sadio Mane, M’baye Niang and Papa Ndiaye will lead the attack.
