The news of Benson’s death threw Murkomen into a mourning mood while terming his late PA as a champion who pushed for peaceful coexistence between warring Pokot and Marakwet communities.

Just before the sand settles on his PA’s killings, his boss, William Ruto announced that is life was in danger following alleged assassination plots some cabinet secretaries from the Mt. Kenya region were planning against him.

With the world nearly coming down crumbling on him, Murkomen had to seek some spiritual guidance by turning to God. In a video going around on social media, Murkomen is seen singing a consoling song at unspecified function.

Earlier on, after Ruto’s assassination claims went Viral, Murkomen took to his Tweeter account to post an inspirational text while at the same time quoting the scriptures. Murkomen quoted the book 2nd Timothy 1:7 in the Bible which is widely referred to by Christians during times of tribulations.

Kipchumba’s spiritual seekings were also echoed by renowned political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi who warned against the escalating assassination claims on William Ruto saying the country was already taking a reckless path. Ngunyi urged Kenyans to pray and hope the nation is not divided into two following the claims.

City lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi also joined Ngunyi in calling for a political tone down claiming there was a national Unanimity in the country that is threatening to breach the already existing peace among the citizens

Ahmednasir went ahead to urge President Uhuru Kenyatta to disband the cabinet and start it afresh after the claims escalated. This was also supported by Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot and Belgut MP Nelson Koech who both threatened to push for the impeachment of the three CSs over the allegations.

In light of the allegations made by Deputy President William Ruto that about 4 members of the CABINET (same TRIBE) are planning to kill him, H.E Uhuru in my CONSIDERED view MUST DISBAND his cabinet/government and start a fresh…I don’t think this has PRECEDENT in our history.” Tweeted Ahmednasir on Tuesday.
