Kapseret Mp Oscar Sudi on Friday proved the doubts of many Kenyans wrong after he took to the podium to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta to Uasin Gishu county.

Contrary to the fears of many Kenyans who had predicted a looming crash between the vocal MP and President Uhuru Kenyatta, Sudi decided to skip the political sentiments and instead opted to praise the President for the marvelous works he had done in the county in terms of infrastructure.

“Your Excellency we want to thank you very much for the great works you have done in completing the Rivatex, Ndalat road. Our people are so grateful for such. We urge you to speed up the completion of Eldoret Southern Bypass” said Sudi amid cheers from the crowd.

According to Sudi, the President had done much to the residents and he deserved to be appreciated for the same. He urged the president to ignore the propaganda being peddled around of a looming rebellion from the region assuring him of full support going into 2022.

He welcomed the president to the county of Uasin Gishu once again in the future to unveil many developments that were going on upon its completion. Sudi had on Thursday evening assured President Uhuru Kenyatta that he would not interrupt his function on Friday.

Reports going round on social media had indicated that Statehouse operatives were planning on presenting the vocal Mp from attending Friday’s function but these rumours were turned down by Sudi who assured the President of an interrupted function on Friday.

Sudi’s way of presentation on Friday left many Kenyans wondering on what had transpired changing the vocal MP’s stand at the last moment. Sudi’s remarks seem to have been influenced by Ruto’s current loyalty to his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.

Earlier on, MPs Silas Tiren, Swarup Mishra and Cornelly Serem had dispelled rumours of a rift in the party, noting there will be no politics at the event, which they described as a State function.

“When as man and wife we are together, girlfriends will come and go; so that should not bother our development and governance agenda. We are one, Jubilee Government is one under the leadership of our President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto,” Mishra said.
