”One Goal was highly recommended by Sebastian Migne and we are pleased by their professionalism in ensuring that the manager’s tactics are safe. That level of confidentiality was very welcome from us,” Mwendwa added.

Harambee Stars played one of their pre-tournament friendlies against Madagascar at the same venue. The game was won by a solitary goal from captain Victor Wanyama from the penalty spot.

The Tournament in Egypt will be Harambee Stars first in 15 years as their last appearance came in the 2004 Tournament in Tunisia. This will be the 6th Tournament for the Kenyan National team that has never made it past the Group stages in the previous 5 attempts.

Migne’s boys are pooled with Algerian whom they play on Sunday from 11 pm Kenyan time. The other two teams are Senegal and East African neighbors Tanzania.
