On 17 June 2019 was the worst Day for a popular Tanzanian movie star Wema Sepetu after a court in Dar es Salaam ordered for her 7 detainment for seven days. Being a Monday, it was the worst way to step into a new week.
The court has been hunting for Wema Sepetu since 11th June after a warrant of arrest on her was issued after she failed to show up for her case mentioning. Due to her failure to show up, the magistrate postponed the hearing of her case tpo17th June 2019.
When Wema showed up on Court on Monday Morning, the court ruled that she be remanded until 24th June 2019, when it will decide on whether she could be released on New bond terms or not.
This means that This lady will spend a whopping 7 days in remand, something that left her sobbing uncontrollably in court.
While Wema was crying and regretting, Zari’s fans were celebrating over her predicament claiming that Diamond, whom they have nicknamed Domo, should go and help her out.

On another post, The same fan continues to laugh at Wema Sepetu. In response, Zari’s followers came gun blazing claiming that she spearheaded the DNA test that was carried on Princess Tiffah to determine whether she was Diamond’s child. They claimed that it was her time to get payback.

Why Wema was remanded
The reason for Wema Sepetu’s arrest was her failure to appear in court for mentioning of her case where she was accused of publishing controversial sex tape on her Instagram page, featuring her former lover on November 2018
In her Defence, Wema Sepetu’s Lawyer explained that Wema had actually arrived for the hearing but developed health issues which forced her to leave the court immediately before the mentioning was done.
