Bandari FC have confirmed that they have parted ways with Nigerian striker Alex Orotomal and midfielder Ahmed ‘Bosi’ Ahmad after the close of 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League campaign.

The duo joined Bandari in March 2019 from St. George FC and Mathare United respectively but barely featured for the Dockers who finished second in the Kenyan Premier League table and clinched the 2019 Sportpesa Shield title after beating holders Kariobangi Sharks in the final.

Orotomal, a former AFC Leopards attacker has been released after his short-term deal with the Dockers expired and has been wished well by coach Bernard Mwalala who thanked him for his contribution during the short stint with the club.

“Orotomal’s contract has elapsed and he has left the club. As his coach, I want to thank him for his services during his time here and wish him the very best. He is a great player and I believe he will do well at his new club,” Mwalala told Opera News.

Bosi, a Kenya U23 midfielder on the other hand is heading to Belgium where he is expected to join a club Mwalala declined to name.

“Bosi is a good player, technically gifted, it’s a shame that he never played for us because he was still adapting. A club in Belgium is interested in his services and he will head there. I cannot name the club right now because negotiations are still taking place but I wish him all the best in Belgium,” Mwalala said.

Bandari has already acquired the services of Zoo FC midfielder, Danson Chetambe and the former Kenyan international believes the central midfielder will beef up his team.

“He is a good young player. We actually wanted to sign him in March but things were a little complicated. We have finally managed to bring him on board and we are happy to have him here, he is a big addition to the team. He makes us stronger. He concluded.
