Once upon a time, Kenya gospel industry ushered in a young talented guy from Mathare Slums by the name Wilson Abubakar Radido popularly known as Willy Paul.

Like any other upcoming artist, Willy Paul’s musical journey wasn’t easy, however, he took the industry by storm following his breakthrough to the music world back in 2010 when he released his first hit song dubbed Rabuka.

Despite the struggles he had gone through, Willy Paul’s patient and perseverance made him found himself on the top of the game when his collabo video song with veteran gospel musician Gloria Muliro dubbed Sitolia hit Kenya’s airwaves.

He later launched his first album dubbed You Never Know in 2013 when he was still down to earth, Willy Paul’s name was talk in town, he was liked by many who loved his style of singing gospel songs, however the humble down to earth God fearing young man started changing his ways.

He changed his name from Willy Paul to Willy Paul msafi later on to Pozze, a section of his fans who noticed his drastic change started to accuse him of copying pasting Tanzanian King of bongo music Diamond Platinum.

His obsession with bongo King made his fans to start speculating that the boy from Mathare will soon meet with the boy from Tandale and the two will drop ‘bonge’ la collabo, however, the Inama hitmaker had no issue with Poze copying his style  that was way back in 2015 when the rain started beating Kitanzi hitmaker.

As they as controversies pay, well for bwana mkunaji it has worked very well for him. After releasing any song, Poze must trend not in a good way because of the quality of the music he produces with some secular artists.

Bwana Mkunaji is currently riding on his collabo hit song with African Princess Nandy dubbed Hallelujah.

His fellow artiste Ringtone tried to advise him but that never stopped him from collaborating with secular artists and producing secular songs in the name of the gospel.

His latest raunchy performance with Tanzanian singer Nandy attracted one of Kenya’s political big wig ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

Bwana mkunaji is known kunaing the secular industry after it is alleged that he has succumbed to critics and chopped off the hand that brought him into the limelight.

Pozze took to his Instagram account and wrote a post that suggested he is ditching the gospel industry.

”No turning back, I want to see my die-hard fans supporting this motion. Do what you feel and think is right,” he wrote

Despite all the constant hatred and criticism, Bwana Mkunaji continues to perform well in both local and international music charts.
