JKUAT Student Shot Accessing State House Claims ‘god’ Send Him to Attack ‘Uhuru’

A 25-year-old JKUAT student was on Monday Evening attacked by Kenyan security detail attached to the president after he jumped over State House fence .

At the time of the shooting, the 5th year engineering student who was identified as Brian Kibet Bera is said to have been armed with a knife.

According to a police source, he’s currently undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital.

“It’s true there was a man shot and he’s undergoing treatment,” a police officer told Capital FM. “He had tried to gain entry to State House while armed with a knife.”

Now sources claim that the student bearing a name Brian Bera had threatened to attack the president after sending a memo on his Facebook account where he threatened to kill “the big thief and his sympathizers” claiming that God had sent him to execute judgment on “every thief and every partner of a thief”.

On his Facebook account before the encounter he wrote;

“To: Thief President Uhuru Kenyatta and his partners

Tomorrow I attack State House.

God has sent me to execute judgment on every thief and every partner of a thief.

State House and security officers are yet to issue a statement. Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai and DCI boss George Kinoti are said to have been briefed.
