Did you watch the latest edition of the weekly JKL Show on Citizen TV? Well, a number of viewers from across the Country were tuned to Citizen TV as they watched Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko deconstruct his Women Rep. Esther Passaris in a way only he knows best.
Sonko unleashed brutal attacks directed towards Passaris and with each sensational claim he made against her, he accompanied it with evidence.
The Governor revealed how Passaris swindled Nairobi County of good amounts of cash. He also claimed that Passaris got away with over 10 million shillings she got from him in unscruplous ways.
“When I give Esther Passaris money, it’s not corruption money, when I give poor people money, it’s corruption money! She has swindled me more than 10 million shillings,” Said Sonko.
Sonko also revealed how Passaris was under instructions from a senior officer from President Kenyatta’s office to frustrate him (Sonko).
“She (Esther Passaris) was under instructions from a senior officer in the office of the president to attack me in public… she was paid,” Said Sonko.

Sonko came to the show loaded with documents, text messages and audio recordings to prove his point, but the show was forced to a break as the director, Monica Kiragu, was opposed to the governor’s conduct on live TV.
Sonko also revealed how Passaris has in many times demanded a per diem from the county, despite being given one by the National Assembly.

Sonko’s never ending attacks on Esther Passaris seem to have drew the attention of host Jeff Koinange who then tried to change the subject of discussion from the Nairobi Women Rep to the Governor’s Development record.
Sonko would however not give into Jeff’s tactics and insisted on driving his points on Passaris home as he even threatened to walk out if he was not granted the chance.
“Don’t ask me another question before I answer the one you did…. Usinipeleke mbio vile Hussein hupeleka Deputy President hapa,” said agitated Sonko.
The Show then went for a commercial break so as to seemingly enable Sonko and his handlers at Citizen TV agree on the terms and conditions of running it. They did not agree and this prompted Jeff to end the interview prematurely.
An Angry Sonko did not take the matter lightly and promised to ask Passaris all the hard questions next time they meet up.
He even agreed to come back to the show but this time with Passaris also present.
Well, it seems like this war of words between Sonko and his women Rep is so far from over.
