The country has today experienced new appointments of Dr Patrick Njoroge as the Governor for Central Bank of Kenya and Mr James Mburu as Commissioner General to KRA.
Reappointment of Dr Patrick Njoroge as Central Bank of Kenya is a insult to integrity and economy of the country. It's under his tenure that Imperial Bank was put under receivership. Also, inflation is at the peak. Money laundering is on the rise. Poor decision by Uhuru. pic.twitter.com/05Ncp7coG9

The appointments have however received a backlash from a section of Kenyans who have taken to the Internet with some harsh reactions.
They are arguing that it is under Dr Njoroge’s tenure that Imperial Bank was put under receivership.
National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya who is among those who have poked holes in the top appointments.
Mogaya sarcastically questioned the appointments claiming that one’s place of birth is enough to give someone a top job at KRA and CBK.
Mogaya , a close a close ally of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga wrote;
“There are basic qualifications for one to head CBK and KRA. Those qualifications are impossible and unattainable by the rest of the country. They are determined at birth. One day the bubble will burst.”

Controversial City Lawyer Miguna Miguna has as well backede Magaya.
Miguna claims that the two have been appointed because of their tribal affiliation with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
James Githii Mburu has not been appointed KRA Commissioner General because he is the most qualified Kenyan. Nor has Patrick Njoroge's and Njiraine's contracts been extended due to their exemplary performance. Uhuru Kenyatta has only exercised TRIBALISM and ELITE FAVOURITISM..

For years now, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been under scrutiny over the alleged appointment of people from his Central Kenya backyard to top government positions.
While Dr Patrick Njoroge replaced Prof Njuguna Ndung’u, Mr Mburu will be replacing Njiraini, who also hails from Central Kenya. Both appointments have caused mixed reactions across the country.
Here are some of the other reactions;
James Mburu {Kikuyu} appointed to replace John Njiraini {Kikuyu} as commissioner General at KRA the same day Dr Patrick Njoroge {Kikuyu} is reappointed as CBK governor. This means the other 47 tribes are incapable of managing Kenya money conduits, but labor to contribute. pic.twitter.com/egXBs4bo7H

Uthamaki nation is reaping big from Uhuru's government. In the morning it was Dr Patrick Njoroge and this afternoon it's James Gathii Mburu replacing John Njiraini. Seems only Mt Kenya can manage effectively our finances. Thank you the son of Jomo, the country is doing well. pic.twitter.com/bjysUDgpuI
