A story making rounds on media houses has caused quite a stir and shook the reality of many worldwide. Could it be true that a woman gave birth to 17 babies at once?

Believe it or not, a woman from America did incredibly give birth to 17 babies in 29 hours last weekend at the Indianapolis Memorial Hospital.
“It was incredible” explains Dr. Jack Morrow who assisted the woman through the whole operation.
“The babies kept coming and coming and coming and coming… Man! I think I’m going to have nightmares about this day for a long time! This was my last delivery for a very long time. I am taking a vacation!” he added, laughingly.
It is a miraculous story that many Kenyans would go back to church to praise their pastors for as the couple had had trouble conceiving children for a long time, before resorting to a fertility clinic in Rhodes Island for assistance.
All 17 of the newborns are boys! Imagine the celebration that would be in a traditional African family if that ever happened. In an almost continuous thought, the parents named the boys James, Jacob, Jarod, Jarvis, Jason, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Jerome, Jesse, Jimmy, Joachim, Jonathan, Jonas, Joseph, Julian, Jimbo and surprisingly, Darth Porkinus.
They are all identical so good luck to teachers on remembering all those names in the future. Just imagine the confusion on their peers and possibly future love interests.
Such a blessing the family has been bestowed.
In Kenya, 17 sounds like a dream as the highest number of births any woman has done at one go is five. The most recent was a 28-year-old woman from Kakamega who gave birth to quintuplets at Kakamega County Referral Hospital, 3 girls and two boys through CS.
Her birthing story caused quite a stir in the country and even made headlines. Sadly, however, the mother passed away a few days later, together with some of the newly born.
