Babu Owino Under Fire For Linking Raila in Waititu’s Heckling in Githurai

At Githurai, when Baba Yao took to the podium he was roundly shouted down as he tried to address the crowd.

His efforts to get the crowd’s audience were only met with chants of “Hatutaki” and “Hakuna”.

Githurai residents accuse him of destroying their livelihoods after he pulled down their market last year that accommodated over 3, 000 traders

Waititu claimed the space was to be built a Sh2.7 billion market through a Public Private Partnership but according to area nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura, the traders were kicked out to pave way for a Chinese investor to put  some businesses.

Reacting to the event Embakasi East MP Babu Owino claimed that  Waititu’s people had turned against him because of fighting ODM leader Raila Odinga urging him to reconcile with him as the gods of politics were not happy with him.

Posting into his twitter account, Babu posted;

“Waititu you were warned to stop fighting Baba but as usual a fly that does not take an advice follows the corpse(tanga tanga)to the grave and are buried together. A big head can not miss a blow. gods of politics are not happy with you. ”

However, this did not turn well with the for Babu as netizens took him for linking Raila with the heckling;

Don’t drag Raila into this…that is how the true story is lost…the people are just fed up with these leaders and their politics… and trying to cover up corruption….. let them hang themselves with their own rope…
