Kabogo exposes Gakuyo again says he is renown criminal

Former governor William Kabogo had warned Kiambu residents against saving money with troubled Ekeza Sacco

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo is at it again, this time spilling the beans on Gakuyo’s past history of conmanship.

On facebook, post-Kabogo warned Gakuyo of playing with people’s mindset by just collecting few guys from Kiandutu and paying them peanuts while Kenyans who deposited With Ekeza Sacco a sister company to Gakuyo real estate.

“Ndugu go visit a shrink. And stop playing with Kenyans, return their money then go back to school, form II Munyu Sec. Where you dropped out, You may learn little manners there. Stop blaming me, I’ve got nothing to do with your con business. You think Kenyans are stupid, you go pick people from Kiandutu to cheat Kenyans that you’re paying. Shame on you (sic).”  Kabogo fired.

Gakuyo and Kabogo are bitter political adversaries. In 2017,  Gakuyo made public his intentions of replacing Kabogo as governor.

In 2017, the former governor warned Kenyans against investing with Gakuyo noting that he is a criminal who is in a mission to swindle Kenyans money.

“I want to tell you today, don’t save your money in Ekeza, you will be putting your money in a hole … even the Bible says quick wealth has no blessings,” said Kabogo.

Gakuyo has now put up for sale some of his prime properties in Nairobi, Kiambu and Murang’ counties to raise the money he needs to refund members.

While addressing the angry Sacco members at his Calvary Chosen Centre Church in Thika, he assured members that no one would lose their savings.

“I want to assure all the 53,000 members of Ekeza Sacco that no one will lose their money. I am selling some of my properties and soon I will repay members all their savings,” he said.

Some of the properties listed up for sale include a residential house in Nyari estate near Village Market, Nairobi, a hotel in Juja town and a house on half-an-acre along the Thika-Garissa road near Makongeni estate.

Others include a four-story building along the Thika-Garissa road, a 50-acre piece of land in Kilimambogo, Thika, 100 acres in Kabati, Murang’ a, and a quarry, also located in Kabati.

Recently Gakuyo openly announced that the money was used to fund Waititu’s campaign in 2017.

He also blamed Waititu of abandoning him in the time of need.

“I funded Waititu campaign and currently he is nowhere to rescue me, Gakuyo said.
