Embakasi East MP Paul Ongiri famuosly known as Babu Owino unlike other political leaders as dropped the “mheshimiwa’ tag which most legislatures prefer to be referred with.
Babu Owino who shared the story of his humble beginning with the residents of Embakasi ,has told them to always refer to him as ‘Babu Owino.’
Babu Owino has told the residents that he was raised in Nyalenda slums in Kisumu. He passed through all the difficulties some residents might be going through.
In a brotherly tone Babu Owino has asked all the residents to approach him without any fear as he is ready to chip in and help.
The young legislature who has a great vision of leading the country as also requested the people to forgive him if he has in one way or another wronged them.

Babu Owino has painted himself as a humble leader which is mostly used to refer to Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
But it seems he is ready to walk the same path to the bask of his glory.
