“Life can only be understood backwards but must be lived forwards.” This is an ancient quote that has lived to date. Your today’s life or prosperity must have originated from somewhere.
Nicholas Kipkirui was a former Zoo Kericho player and is currently a Gor Mahia player. But does that deter his former club from wishing him a happy birthday?
Of course no, and I hope you now know where I am headed to, right?
On 31st May 1996, a young baby boy from Rift Valley was born to us. 23 years later, the baby boy, Nicholas Kipkirui is now a rocking football star in Kenya.
The former player of Zoo Kericho joined the Sportpesa Premier League leaders Gor Mahia on 26th October 2018 and his contract is set to expire on 30th June 2022, 4-year contract.
He plays as a center-forward at K’Ogalo and his hard work has seen him a secure first-team place and plays regularly just like Dennis Oliech and Jacques Tusiyenge.
The moment he is most remembered for is when he scored two goals for Gor Mahia’s 3-1 victory against AFC Leopards on May 19, 2019.
The Rift-born youngster is turning 23 today and it is interesting to know the first people to wish him a happy birthday.
K’Ogalo, his current club are yet to wish him but to the shock of many, his former club Zoo Kericho showed how they value their former player, who they now brand their ‘ambassador.’
This is apparently a clear indication that Zoo Kericho really value their former ace and are proud of his development at K’Ogalo.
Kipkirui managed to lift his first KPL title this season after they were crowned champions with two matches at hand.
