Forget Raila! Ruto’s joke on Mudavadi that left people in stitches

Deputy President Dr William Ruto on Thursday dominated the National Prayer Breakfast event at Safari Park Hotel with jokes that left people in stitches.

However, after the event, people only kept on talking about his joke on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Ruto jokingly took a swipe at Raila Odinga, stating that Kenya is ready to donate the latter to the United Kingdom, to serve as Prime Minister, since Kenya’s current constitution does not provide for the same.

But did you capture the joke Ruto made on Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi?

While introducing the high profiles present at the event, Ruto introduced Mudavadi as the former vice President of the Republic of Kenya.

He expressed his concern on why people keep on forgetting that once upon a time, Mudavadi was the vice president of this country.

However, Ruto took a joke in his remarks. Well, we all know that Mudavadi was the shortest serving Vice President, right? But Ruto now told Mudavadi that however much his time in power was short, he was not alone in line. He said that he also served as the minister for home affairs for only two months, living the people in stitches.

“I don’t know why we keep forgetting that once upon a time Musalia was our vice president”
