Hustler has been the name Deputy President Dr William Ruto has branded himself with. This, according to him bases on his early lifestyle before rising to grace.
A son of a common mwananchi, who recounts selling peanuts and chicken now sits on high tables with high profiled people.
Today ( Thursday) during the 17th National Prayer Breakfast Day at Safari park hotel, Ruto recounted on the day he wore his first ever shoe.
Ruto said that when he was in standard 7 preparing for his CPE, he went to do exams bare foot. This, to him was nature.
He said his first shoe was bought in 1981 for Ksh 60, citing that he was saying so because ” the gentleman who didn’t have shoes is sitting at the high table today”.
