Former K24 media personality, Rehema Majala, famously known as Remmy Majala, has bitterly recounted how she had to struggle the first time she became a news anchor.

Through her Instagram account, she said; “When I first became a News Anchor, I was nervous as hell, coming from an entertainment/lifestyle background being taken seriously was not an easy thing, there were all sorts of notions on how to present yourself and the news items and what was the industry standard..

It wasn’t a walk in the park. I wrote these notes down to remind myself of what I wanted to work on and do to improve my craft because it dawned on me, it’s not really about me, especially when you’re on that screen.

This is an old book I now smile at and realize it’s all in the journey and not really the destination, there’s always something else to be conquered but it’s the life lessons we pick up along the way.”
