Who Can Stop Wazito FC From Bouncing Back to The Kenya Premier League?

Now that the National Super League is coming to an end, teams are really battling for the promotion to the Kenya Premier League next season.

As it stands, Wazito FC seems to have put one foot on the main league as with only four matches left for them, they top the table with 75 points, four points ahead of Nairobi Stima who have played one match more than them.

Nairobi Stima, Kisumu All-Stars, Ushuru, and police are the main contenders for direct promotion, which usually involves two clubs who finish at the top of the table. The journey has been long but Wazito have rocked teams really hard!

According to statistics this season, Wazito FC have shown massive improvement and have disciplined teams.

Looking into their last ten matches, the aggressive Wazito have only lost two matches and have won all the remaining matches leave alone going for a draw.

Modern Coast Rangers beat them 1-0 and Eldoret thrashed them 2-1. But the remaining eight clubs fell their victim.

Interestingly, the Camp Toyoyo conceded only 8 goals in those recent 10 matches but scored a total of 26 goals, meaning they have a goal difference of 18.

Ricardo Badoer’s boys will be welcoming Nairobi Stima for their 35th National Super League match, a match that will seal their quest for promotion to their Kenya Premier League should they win.

Who can stop Wazito?

The Camp Toyoyo had earlier hinted at their return to the main league in style as they unveiled the club’s bus they will be using for their return.

Arguably, no club has a bus of that type and it seems they are going to be the real ‘wazito’ in English (heavyweights) in the KPL next season.

Do you think that Wazito FC will be the team to watch next season? Will they beat the defending champions and lift the trophy next season? Leave your comments below.
