There is tension at Barca, in the whole of Spain and all over the world. Could Barcelona do this to Valverde?
Of course, someone had to be sacrificed. With Barcelona’s recent disappointments; first in their match against Liverpool and second against Valencia.
Rumours have gone all round that Barcelona have decided to fire Ernesto Valverde and a possible substitute has been found. That’s all we got.
Again, rumours had it that Roberto Martinez was the one identified fit to replace Valverde.

However, Barcelona have come out to dispel the rumours. Barca have clarified that no decision has been made already and rumours should, therefore, be dismissed.
Though Barca had stated earlier that they would sack Valverde on Tuesday and even if they don’t do it by that day, he will still have to lose his job following the recent results.
Apparently, the club is looking for the best man to replace Valverde but has not reached any decision.

Lionel Messi recently denied claims that Valverde is the one to blame for Barcelona’s woes. Instead, he stated that the Spanish manager has tried his best and it is the players who were to blame for the poor performance. His sentiments were also echoed by the defender Gerard Pique.
Barcelona board have apparently closed their years to that and are determined to replace the coach who will guide the team in the next season.
