Harambee Stars head coach SebstianMigne has hailed the quality and dedication of Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna following a successful training session at the Kasarani Stadium on Tuesday. The attacking midfielder was selected by the French man for next year’s CHAN championship alongside Wazito Fc midfielder Musa Masika.

“It always a good feeling to have players for these sessions. It’s been fantastic this week as this session gives me more opportunity to know my players. Muguna impressed me by showing his quality. Masika (Musa) was another one who impressed but they need to keep the same at their clubs,” Migne said.

The coach further expressed confidence in his squad saying it was the best he had at his disposal and promised that he was ready to welcome new faces after AFCON in the team.

“If it’s not the best squad for me then I should be crazy to have selected it. As a coach, you must ensure that you have the best first eleven in the field and constitute the best group for this tournament.

“They are currently 26 players but I will trim to 23. I know I’ll annoy some people but it is the nature of my job. The door is always open for new faces and after AFCON there will be some competition and we will surely have new faces then,” Migne added.

Harambee Stars are grouped alongside Senegal, Algerian, and Tanzania in group C.
