Brookside dairy owned by the Kenyatta family has suffered a major public image damage after a customer revealed how she bought a whole carton only to reach home and find the packets were filled with water.
Through a video on social media, the tweep, Blak Aende illustrated the fraud in her kitchen by opening several sealed packets only to surprise viewers with an extremely dilute milk coming out as she poured into a glass.

“So probably the seller repackage with water??,” Collosoy questioned.
“It’s easy to repackage a plastic bottle, but a tetra-pak carton? Something is definitely wrong here..,” another probed.
“Our lives at stake,” Etuku Ham got alarmed.
Many others complained of having gone through the same experience;
“I got my carton at carrefour the hub as well,”-Muthoni Njeru.
“I too bought two packets of brookside 500 ml about a month ago and got very diluted milk. I counted my losses and vowed never to purchase milk from the processor again,” -Musa Kinja.
“I had the same experience at Kariobangi South with some shop there. Sikuhizi no customer goes there for milk,”-Kevin Oyugi.
In efforts to redeem themselves, Brookside dairy contacted the the customer via twitter and apologised for the experience adding that they would like to investigate how the mess happened.
“Kindly DM us where you bought the carton of Dairy Best, the date of purchase, your location and contact details (i.e your name, phone number & email address), ” they said.
