Sony Sugar failed to secure their fourth place in the Kenyan Premier League table after a barren draw against Nzoia Sugar in a KPL early kick-off match held at Green Stadium in Awendo.
Visitors Nzioa were awarded a penalty in the 9th minute but Agwanda failed to convert it as Sony’s goalkeeper Mwangala produced a fine save.
Just before the break, the visitors’ Juma was sent off after he was given a red card. Nzoia, however, put a lot of pressure close with Omino attempts did not bear any fruits as Agwanda heads in too much power pinching out of the field of play.
One man that displayed a good performance was Sony shot s stopper as he saved lots of shots and attempts. Mwangala produced double save denying Omollo and Thomas clear chance of scoring.
