Why Ex-Gor Mahia Coach Ditched S.A. Club Despite Good Performance!

Former Gor Mahia coach and one of the most pragmatic figures in Kenyan football has resigned from Black Leopards having already valiantly handed his resignation letter on Tuesday.

Indeed, the former Gor Mahia has decided to leave the club he helped save from relegation last season.

The rumor mill of Kerr’s imminent departure first started weaving in the realms of the public domain on Thursday night, after controversial quotes from Black Leopards chairman David Thidiela that pointed towards the exit of Kerr.

According to information from local South African tabloids, Kerr’s exit from Leopards was then highlighted by chairman Thidiela, who insisted that the management was working round the clock to find a suitable replacement for Kerr.

Interestingly, the reason for Kerr’s sudden departure is still in the doldrums, but it is believed that he left because of different coaching objectives from those of the Leopards.

That being said, Kerr did a solid job at Leopards, steering the club to 21 matches; six of which were won, six were drawn, and nine were lost.

Not the most decent running but one that Kerr would have hoped to improve on later on with the leopards. An Even hotter rumor suggests that Dylan Kerr is now set for a return in Kenyan football with cash-rich Wazito FC though it has not been confirmed as of yet.
