Did you know Kambua and Evelyn had their wedding on the same day?
Kenyan Gospel artiste Evelyn Wanjiru has for the first time open up about little known facts between her and her fellow singer Kambua.
Evelyn’s revelations comes few days after Kambua announced her pregnancy.
“Fun fact is that Kambua and I had our weddings on the same day, 7th of April and that gives me hope and when I see that God has remembered her I have faith that my blessings are on the way”.
Just like Kambua, Evelyn says that she has not given up hope in having a baby seven years after getting married to her husband Agundabweni Akweyu.
“One thing that doesn’t stress me is the fact that my husband always gives me hope and strength because I know in the African culture people expect newlyweds to bear children.I know it’s seven years since we got married but I am still waiting upon God and I believe He will bless us with a child,” Evelyn narrated.
She added she is under medication especially because of hormonal imbalance and also due to the kind of foods she eats. The ‘Mungu mkuu’ hitmaker was congratulating her fellow gospel artiste Kambua who broke the internet after she revealed that she is expecting her first child seven years after she got married to her pastor husband Jackson Mathu.
Wanjiru disclosed that she is under medication but was comforted by the hope that she will one day hold her own baby and was waiting on God’s time.
“We are in the process, we are under medication especially me. It’s due to hormonal imbalances which is very common, I think it’s because of the diet we are consuming especially in this era that we are in. Don’t give up hope and consult a doctor to find out what the problem is and also pray hard. What has kept me going is that God fulfills his promises, when he promises he will fulfill. I believe my day will come.”
