Youth unemployment remains a biggest headache to most people in Kenya. Many are conned by crooked people in their efforts to look for jobs whilst others unsuccessfully secure jobs after school.
But did you know that the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) has various job slots for youth? Had you tried to secure a slot at the SGR?
Well, according to Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena, SGR has created employment opportunities for the youth.
She says there are jobs for those who work in the train, for taxi operators who ferry passengers to and from the Terminus, for the youth who operate equipment for the SGR cargo train among others.
Kanze Dena was speaking during an interview on Ghetto radio’s morning show dubbed Breko.

Her remarks comes in the wake of SGR phase 2A which is set to be launched soon. Phase 2A covers Nairobi to Naivasha through Narok.
