The Role out of Competency Based Curriculum by Education CS Prof George Magoha has continued to receive a lot of opposition from Kenya National Union of Teachers officials led by Wilson Sossion.
According to KNUT secretary General Wilson Sossion, the New Curriculum has many gaps that teachers cannot force it on students.
But in a different twist, Wilson Sossion has stated that if Prof Magoha imposes the new curriculum to schools the Public schools will not be able to cope with it.
“The biggest ‘disease’ will be the death of public schools as a result of CBC,” Sossion stated.

Speaking to Citizen TV, Sossion stated that the public schools will not cope to the demands enshrined in the Competency Based Curriculum which Prof George Magoha is accused of chest thumbing to the students and teachers.

The training of teachers on the new curriculum has also been criticized ,Sossion terming the exercise as policed with full of threats.
