It is now apparent, the US is frightened by China’s intelligence and the sophistication of  tech giant Huawei. The ban of Google’s products on Huawei by Trump is just but the results of the fear.

To effect the ban, Trump was relying on a China law that requires Chinese companies to help the government with intelligence services when called upon to do so.

Trump’s initiative comes at time when Huawei was on a springboard of technological innovation.

After beating Apple last year, Huawei was among the top global mobile and computer companies, only behind South Korea’s Samsung.

According to Chief Executive Officer in charge of Huawei’s consumer business, Huawei believed that it could overtake Samsung by 2020.

By market share, Huawei’s market is a replica of it’s technology sophistication, only second to Samsung.

From a research that was published by International Data Corporation (IDC), Counterpoint Research, IHS Markit and Canalys all reported that Chinese smartphone maker Huawei leapfrogged Apple to second place, based on the number of devices both firms shipped in the quarter that ended on June 30 last year. The research was seen by CNBC news as posted on its website.
