Irony! Wetangula Represents Kenya in an anti-corruption Conference

Amidst probe into the fake gold scandal that has heavily linked Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula, the Ford Kenya party leader flew to China over the weekend, with many speculating that he was running away from the case. But do you think this was the case with Wetangula?

Well, the Senate speaker Ken Lusaka however came out to clear the airwaves, citing that Wetangula had gone to China to represent the senate at a state function. Are you aware of the function?

Wetangula might be very clean from any scandal! Who knows? He is the one representing the country at the International Anti corruption conference in Hong Kong China alongside nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura.

The two also paid a courtesy call at the Faculty of Law of University of Hong Kong where Prof Yash Pal Ghai taught for 10 years.

The nominated Senator shared the information about their trip on Tuesday morning via his facebook account.

“With Sen Moses Wetangula representing the Senate ahead of the International Anti corruption conference in Hong Kong China.
We paid a courtesy call at the Faculty of Law of University of Hong Kong where Prof Yash Pal Ghai taught for 10 years,” he posted.

With such a serious scandal, Wetangula was still picked among the Kenyan Senators to go and represent the nation at the International Anti corruption conference in Hong Kong at the taxpayers’ expense!

Is he cleansing himself from the mess?
