Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been on top of media pages for all but but reasons. The running of Kiambu County appeared in some way to give the Governor a headache.
The latest news that has placed Governor Waititu on the public limelight is the bizarre budget line which Kiambu County was on the spot for splashing millions on state functions. However, The Auditor General Edward Ouko owned up the mistake saving Hon Waititu from the wrath of the people of Kiambu.
But Governor Waititu can now breath after signing a partnership deal with Global Communities.
Global Communities under the USAID’s CLEAR program, signed a partnership MoU with the County Government of Kiambu that will see the two parties work collaboratively to strengthen the cooperative sector in the county.
CLEAR will support the county to develop cooperative policy and legislation creation in order to create the necessary enabling environment for cooperative businesses to thrive.
The ceremony was graced by Governor Waititu and CLEAR Chief of Party, Kristyn Wilcox.
