Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula is at pains to explain the leaked audio clip that bears him and his alleged Dubai contact in a fake gold scandal.
In the audio clip, Wetangula is put to pressure to explain why the gold consignment that was to be ferried from Democratic Republic of Congo to Dubai through Nairobi had not yet reached in Dubai.
The ford Kenya party leader in the clip dubbed ‘Wetangula exposed in fake gold scam” notes having met with ODM leader Raila Odinga and the head of state Uhuru Kenyatta over the gold deal and assures the contact that everything was okay.
Wow. This is a huge expose. I think the position of senator Moses Wetangula is no longer tenable. pic.twitter.com/ZQMg6fEVzC

But do you believe that Wetangula had really met the alleged leaders over the deal? Well, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina believes that Wetangula was just doing name-dropping.
The legislator says that the person in the clip is Wetangula whom everyone knows.
He says name-dropping, a tactic applied by Wetangula is a culture that people use to get favours or be seen as very important.
Ledama Olekina on fake gold saga: This is an issue of name-dropping. The person speaking in that tape (everyone knows is Wetangula) was name-dropping.

Do you think Wetangula was just seeking favours from his alleged Dubai contact by mentioning President Kenyatta and Raila’s names in his conversation?
