“Ulikua unakaa kama toothbrush” HopeKid’s new hairstyle excites Kenyans

Gospel Singer HopeKid has followed Bahati’s footsteps and got a new look with long dreadlocks.

HopeKid was known for his signature hairstyle which was short baby locks but seems like he got caught by the current trend that most of the male gospel musicians have been wearing.

According to HopeKid, this new hairstyle is a symbol of a new beginning and this can be linked to the fact that he has had a pretty rough time the previous months.

“When NOTHING is certain, ANYTHING is possible…… 🥂 to new beginnings.” he wrote on his post

Hope Kid fans have expressed excitement on this new look while others have criticized him saying that this trend of men keeping their hair like women is not the way to go.

Another fan says that he prefers this look because the previous one looked like a toothbrush and was just not good enough.

HopeKid in a previous interview had revealed that he learnt from Willy Paul that it is important for him to be himself no matter what people say.

The Singer says he learnt this lesson the hard way after the ‘threesome saga’ and rocking this new hairstyle might probably be him unleashing his other side.

Meanwhile other artists who have rocked this long dreadlocks look include masterpiece, Dk Kwenye Beat, Bahati and others.

What do his fans think about this new hairsytle? Have a look
