Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket has come out to reveal how the Deputy President William Ruto had recruited National Police Reservists(NPRs) as his militiamen in 2022.
According to Hon William Kamket, The Deputy President William Ruto had recruited the National Police Reservist to fight for him in 2022.
However his plans were cut short after the Inspector of General of Police Hillary Mutyambai called for disarming of all Police Reservists in the Rift Valley.

But Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has jump to the defense of DP Ruto. According to Kipchumba Murkomen the NPRs are only being vetted. Senator Murkomen has argued that NPRs form an integral part of security solution in the Rift Valley.
Hon Murkomen has since turned the whole debate into a name calling scene referring to William Kamket as the commander of the bandit.
