Liverpool Stars Divock Origi Outshines Mohamed Salah And Sadio Mane In A Surprise Category

You can be at the top forever. Both Mane and Salah are renowned for their electricity on the wings, with their quick dribbling abilities pivotal to Liverpool’s attacking threat.

But the Premier League joint-top scorers have been surprisingly outdone in that category by their team-mate Origi.

The Belgian popped up with some vital goals this season, namely his late league winners against Everton and Newcastle, and Champions League semi-final brace versus Barcelona.

Something not always associated with Origi is his pace, but no Liverpool player was clocked traveling quicker on the pitch than the 24-year-old this term.

Origi is eighth on the overall list released by stat gurus Opta, with only three players from the Big Six making the cut.

Leroy Sane, known for his bobbing and weaving down the left flank, makes the list at number four while Kyle Walker crossed the line in second.

Despite Origi’s semi-final heroics against Barcelona, he is expected to miss the Champions League final against Tottenham on June 1 as Roberto Firmino nears full-fitness.

The Brazilian sure can’t outdo him for pace, though, as the official top-10 list shows…
