Bringing back the ’69 class: PUMA and AC Milan Combine on a Classically Styled Home Kit for the 2019/20 Season

PUMA and AC Milan just combined for one of the classiest kit drops you’re likely to see all summer.

Founded in 1899, The club has spent its entire history, with the exception of the 1980–81 and 1982–83 seasons, in the top flight of Italian football, known as Serie A since 1929–30.[5].

A.C. Milan’s 18 FIFA and UEFA trophies is the fourth highest out of any club (joint with Boca Juniors), and the most out of any Italian club. Milan has also won a joint record three Intercontinental Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup, seven European Cup/Champions League titles (Italian record), the UEFA Super Cup a joint record five times and the Cup Winners’ Cup twice.

Being one of the most decorated clubs in European football, with the team’s iconic red and black stripes associated with glory in both Italian and European competition. For their new home kit, PUMA are paying tribute to AC Milan’s legendary team from 1969.

The 1969/70 season saw I Rossoneri win their second European Cup and for the 2019/20 season, AC Milan will step to the field in narrow red and black stripes as a tribute to that team from 50 years ago.

The simple kit features a round collar to bring a contemporary look to a 1960s-inspired classic.

AC Milan debuted the kit on pitch in their final Serie A home fixture of the season, and release details are soon to follow.
